Photo Realistic Images
Photorealistic Imaging for marketing and Technical Publications
High quality Photorealistic Images are essential in to days fast paced ”from concept to marketing” strategies! With traditional photography, you would have to design, manufacture, assembly and photograph your product loosing valuable marketing time. With Photorealistic Imaging you can produce stunning Photorealistic Images at the design stage using your CAD solid models. The other benefits of using Photorealistic Images is that you can share the design with your client up front so there are no surprises. What you see is what you get in terms of the look, colour, texture etc.
Your technical publications can also be produced in parallel with the design process saving valuable time.
The images below are some samples that CADtec3D has rendered. We can also include “depth of field” which if you are familiar with photography, simply means the "subject" can be in sharp focus whilst the foreground and background can be out of focus to greater or lesser degrees. This creates an incredible degree of accuracy and truly gives a “photographed” effect as opposed to a rendered effect I am sure you will agree.
ou tell us what the product should look like by defining colours and textures and we can fine tune how the material reacts to light (as it would in the real world) by controlling things like the amount of reflection and absorption of light on surfaces. Even glass can be ray traced using the exact laws of physics and the refractive index of transparent surfaces can be controlled for enhanced accuracy.
Photorealistic Rendering is far more cost effective and versatile than photography. Rendering requires a high spec computer and rendering software, whilst photography requires a studio, backdrops, lighting etc
