Rib to picatinny adapter

The SGS-400 Rib to Picatinny Adapter now gives you the ability to add any device that fits a Picatinny Rail to your Shotgun.

The rib to picatinny adapter comes in 5 sizes that will capture your exact vent rib width.

6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm & 12.7mm

 

 

 

 

 

 

On check out you can specify your best fitting option from:

Vent Rib widths up to 6mm wide, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm and 12.7mm (1/2") wide.

The length of the picatinny rail is 45mm which is long enough to fit most scopes and accessories.

If you have a tapered vent rib, please consider where on the vent rib you will be installing the vent rib to picatinny adapter, and measure the width at that location.

The method of locking the adapter to the vent rib is exactly the same as CADtec3D's SGS-100 design that is tried and tested.

You can see the angle of the screws are at 10 degrees when contacting the corner of the vent rib. This locks the adapter in place with absolute minimum torque

required to the screws.

The screws will never shake loose due to the special stainless steel HeliCoil thread inserts as shown below.

The central coil shown "silver" above has “straight” segments or “chords”. These chords create a slight interference. When the screw enters, these chords flex outwards

creating pressure on the screw preventing them from unwinding.

This is enough to ensure the picatinny adapter will not fall off your vent rib due to vibration.

 

The SGS-400 Vent Rib to Picatinny Adapter comes in 4 vent rib widths so there will be one that suits your gun.

Below are the nominal weights for each of the options:

6mm (0.24")       = 27.5 grams

8mm (0.32")       = 26.0 grams

10mm (0.40")     = 24.5 grams

12.0 mm (0.47") = 23.0 grams

12.7mm (0.5" )    = 21.5 grams
